Hundreds of thousands are still in a state of psychological shock and are highly susceptible to their condition worsening into Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Intrusive memories that may accompany it will haunt everyone who has experienced the trauma of an earthquake or any of its aftermath for a long time. The availability and spread of therapists and specialists may not be sufficient for everyone who needs them. Therefore, generalizing and disseminating scientific information and useful advice through this series of short videos on PTSD helps in understanding this disorder, how to diagnose it, and how we can help ourselves and each other and our children.
